Dragon Ball Z episodes and its movies 1 to 7 were dubbed in Telugu. The Telugu dub of Dragon Ball Z is a redub of all original Funimation episodes and movies consisting of the same scripts and names. Dragon Ball Z was aired in the Toonami block of Cartoon Network India. In August of that year, the Telugu language dub was also aired. In April 2007, the localized dubbed versions of DBZ was aired in Tamil and Hindi languages on Cartoon Network. Since then, it has been broadcasted in English language. It debuted on India's version of Cartoon Network during 2001.

The Telugu dub was done by Seventh Channel Studios, based in Chennai, India. The Telugu language dub is one of the Indian language dubs, along with Hindi and Tamil which aired on Cartoon Network.
